Baseball Game Preview: Vance County Vipers vs. East Wake Warriors

The Vance County Vipers will head out to take on the East Wake Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Vance County has given up an average of 21.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Monday just wasn't the day for Vance County's offense. They lost 34-0 to Wake Forest on Monday.

Meanwhile, East Wake fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Farmville Central on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 2-1. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Wake's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Vance County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.
