Volleyball Recap: Valley Christian Eagles vs. East Palestine Bulldogs
Valley Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the East Palestine Bulldogs, falling 3-0. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-21, 25-4.
Leading East Palestine to victory were Kennedy Andre and Alyssa Dilling. Andre had nine aces and nine assists, while Dilling had ten digs. Those nine aces gave Andre a new career-high.
Valley Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for East Palestine, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Valley Christian will square off against rival David Anderson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, East Palestine is set to face off against their familiar foe Leetonia at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
