Baseball Recap: Center Roughriders vs. White Oak Roughnecks
Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the White Oak Roughnecks.
Center saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sutton Link, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. That double was Link's first of the season. TJ Belin was another, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Center's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for White Oak, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2-1 record this season.
Center will face off against Bullard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for White Oak, they will take on Gladewater at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gladewater's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so White Oak's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
