 Meanwhile, Archbishop Stepinac faced Iona Prep in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Crusaders came up short against  the Gaels, falling  10-0. The Crusaders haven't had much luck with the Gaels recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
 Cardinal Spellman pushed their record up to 2-1 with the  win, which was their sixth straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Archbishop Stepinac, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.
