Basketball Recap: Santa Rosa Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lyford, Santa Rosa was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They managed a 59-54 victory over the Rio Hondo Bobcats. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Bobcats back in December of 2024, they had to take a 65-47 loss.

Santa Rosa pushed their record up to 7-12 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for Rio Hondo, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Santa Rosa will face off against IDEA Riverview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rio Hondo, they will square off against Raymondville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
