State College never let their opponents score on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Altoona Mountain Lions as they made off with a 10-0 victory. Considering the Little Lions have won three contests by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Addison Harpster was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Harpster was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with five RBI, one triple, and one run. That triple was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Jessica Hawbaker was excellent, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Mara Jade McShea, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs.
State College always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .519. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Altoona only posted an OBP of .118.
State College now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Altoona, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

The Little Lions will face off against Chambersburg and their five-game winning streak at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Altoona will try to stop Mechanicsburg's three-game winning streak when they meet at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
