Mt. Vernon can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Evansville Bosse Bulldogs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Mt. Vernon had a senior duo take command as Maiya Jones had four digs and three aces and Hannah McNeece had nine digs and two assists.

Mt. Vernon was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. They are 4-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Mt. Vernon's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Evansville Bosse, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Mt. Vernon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Evansville Harrison on the 13th. As for Evansville Bosse, they will square off against Vincennes Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
