Basketball Recap: Earlsboro Skates Past Maud with Ease

It was a proper cat-fight when Earlsboro challenged Maud on Friday. The Earlsboro Wildcats blew past the Maud Tigers 80-51. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 29 points or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Earlsboro and bumps their season record up to 13-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.5 points over those games. As for Maud, they dropped their record down to 5-15 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Earlsboro didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-48 defeat against Sasakwa on the 15th. Maud does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
