Baseball Game Preview: Red Hook Raiders vs. Warwick Wildcats

The Red Hook Raiders will venture away from home to take on the Warwick Wildcats at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Red Hook will be strutting in after a victory while Warwick will be coming in after a defeat.

Red Hook is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Taconic Hills with a sharp 16-0 win on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Beacon hit Warwick with a five-run sixth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wildcats lost 11-3 to the Bulldogs. The Wildcats' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Warwick saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tristan Sasse, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base. The Wildcats are 2-1 when Sasse posts two or more runs, but 5-11 otherwise.

The win got Red Hook back to even at 9-9. As for Warwick, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.
