Football Recap: Angleton Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home + How To Watch

Angleton won the last time they faced Crosby and Jayden Moore did his part to make sure it happened again. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 31-7 margin over the Cougars on Friday thanks in part to Moore, who rushed for 75 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only seven carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 52 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Angleton's defense made their presence known, laying out Lott Robison 7.5 times. Crosby's QB won't forget Brynden Mack anytime soon given he sacked him twice. Mack also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with eight. Angleton got some further help from Wallace Thornley: he forced one fumble, made nine total tackles, and defended one pass.

Angleton's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.3 points. As for Crosby, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
