Volleyball Recap: Sam Rayburn Takes a Loss

Sam Rayburn lost against Detroit back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rebels fell 2-0 to the Eagles.

Sam Rayburn was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-22.

Sam Rayburn's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Detroit, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sam Rayburn will challenge Leonard at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Detroit, they will venture away from home to square off against CHAAMP HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
