Baseball Game Preview: Boling Bulldogs vs. Hitchcock Bulldogs

Boling has gone 8-2 against Hitchcock recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Boling's last matchup with Brazos could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Friday. Boling lost 10-1 to Brazos. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Boling saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Morgan Mahalitc, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Those two hits gave Mahalitc a new career-high. Parks Macek also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Hitchcock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against Van Vleck, falling 10-0. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly ten runs.

Boling's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Hitchcock, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.
