Emmanuel J Fitzgerald Goes Supernova in San Mateo Win

San Mateo picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Emmanuel J Fitzgerald. J Fitzgerald was unstoppable, rushing for 167 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 113 rushing yards.

J Fitzgerald must have Terra Nova's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When J Fitzgerald last faced the Tigers back in October of 2023, he rushed for 222 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry.

Rico Templin Turns in Season-Best Effort

Sadly, Rico Templin posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Terra Nova over San Mateo on Friday. Templin wasn't messing around, making 19 total tackles (3.0 for loss). The matchup was his seventh straight with seven or more total tackles dating back to last season.

Terra Nova dropped their record down to 2-5 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Templin's next game is against Carlmont on Thursday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.
