Baseball Recap: Genesee Christian Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Genesee Christian came out on top against Washtenaw Christian Academy on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run fifth inning. The Soldiers walked away with an 11-7 victory over the Wildcats.

Genesee Christian's win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-10. As for Washtenaw Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Genesee Christian will venture away from home to challenge Bentley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Soldiers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Washtenaw Christian Academy, they will head out to square off against Faith Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
