Basketball Game Preview: Forest Park Trojans vs. Norway Knights

The Forest Park Trojans will head out to square off against the Norway Knights at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.

Last Thursday, Forest Park lost to North Dickinson on the road by a 43-28 margin. The matchup marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Norway hadn't done well against West Iron County recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Norway took down West Iron County 44-25. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Wykons recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Norway's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.2 points over those games. As for Forest Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.

Forest Park didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Norway in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 55-50 victory. Will Forest Park repeat their success, or does Norway have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
