Skyline won the last time they faced Dexter and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles won by a set and slipped past the Dreadnaughts 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted against the Dreadnaughts since October 22, 2022.

Skyline wouldn't go down easily and took Dexter into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 17-25, 22-25, 25-12, 15-12.

Skyline has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-10-2 record this season. As for Dexter, their loss ended a 12-match streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 32-5-2.

Skyline and Dexter should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Eagles will challenge Huron at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday with a big rank advantage (43 vs. 524). Meanwhile, Dexter (ranked 13th) will meet Chelsea (ranked 106th) at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
