Baseball Recap: Springfield Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Springfield can now relate to. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-3 to the Springboro Panthers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Wildcats' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it 12 in a row.

Dawson Blauvelt was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two RBI.

Springfield's record is now 7-19-1. As for Springboro, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Springfield nor Springboro have any future games scheduled.
