Softball Recap: Bonny Eagle Comes Up Short

Bonny Eagle's last matchup with Massabesic could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Friday. The Scots lost 15-4 to the Mustangs. The Scots haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Bonny Eagle saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Neveah Hagerman, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Sophie Sawyer also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Bonny Eagle's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Massabesic, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Bonny Eagle has already played their next game, a 20-0 win against Falmouth on the 8th. As for Massabesic, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-4 victory against Biddeford on the 12th.
