Standley Lake waltzed into their match on Tuesday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They put the hurt on the D'Evelyn Jaguars with a sharp 3-0 win. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 15, 2021, but that streak is no more.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Standley Lake took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-15, 25-9.

Standley Lake can attribute much of their success to Maryn Paulson, who had 14 digs and two assists.

Standley Lake was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in six consecutive matchups.

Standley Lake's record now sits at 17-2. As for D'Evelyn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.
