Softball Recap: Osakis Takes a Loss

Osakis was the 11-1 winner over Pillager when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Silverstreaks fell 7-2 to the Huskies on Friday.

Osakis' defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Pillager, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Osakis will take on Pequot Lakes at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Pillager, they will welcome New York Mills at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering the Huskies have lost three straight at home and the Eagles three straight on the road, this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum.
