Volleyball Recap: Wilson Comes Up Short

If Wilson was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Franklin on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mules came up short against the Eagle Rock Eagles on Thursday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21, 25-12.

Wilson's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Eagle Rock, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wilson will square off against rival Marshall at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Eagle Rock is set to challenge their familiar foe Bravo at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
