Elizabeth hasn't had much luck against Eaton recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Cardinals will face off against the Reds at 1:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Elizabeth is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out Brush 38-35. The win was nothing new for the Cardinals as they're now sitting on five straight.

Elizabeth's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tristan McCray, who rushed for 118 yards and one TD. The Cardinals also got a significant boost from Griffin Widhalm, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 82 yards.
Elizabeth didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Brush to a completion percentage of just 50%. The Cardinals weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 33.3%.
Elizabeth didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Ronin Lundgren, Tim Waters, and Talyn Douglas picked up one apiece. Douglas has been hot recently, having also posted five or more total tackles the last three times he's played.
Meanwhile, Eaton's offense rose to the challenge against an Indians defense that boasted an average of only 13.45 points allowed on Saturday. The Reds sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 35-32 victory over Strasburg.
Elizabeth better keep an eye on Jackson Savona. He was instrumental in Eaton's win, rushing for 75 yards and a pair of scores.
Eaton's defensive line made their presence known, laying out Brody Hopwood four times. Leading the way was Andrew Loyd with two sacks.
Elizabeth's record is now 9-2. As for Eaton, their record now sits at 8-3.
Saturday's matchup will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: McCray and Savona. McCray just won't slow down this season and has run in 18 touchdowns while averaging 77 rushing yards per game. Savona has been a dominant force too and has run in 14 touchdowns while averaging 129.9 rushing yards per game.
Elizabeth came up short against Eaton in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, falling 21-13. Thankfully for the Cardinals, Cooper Nider (who picked up 147 receiving yards and two touchdowns) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
