Softball Recap: Coosa Christian Comes Up Short

Coosa Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Spring Garden Panthers, falling 13-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 last Monday.

Coosa Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Spring Garden, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coosa Christian will square off against Gaylesville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Spring Garden, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Spring Garden Panthers take on Sand Rock Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Their pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Sand Rock's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
