2A Conference 18 recap November 13, 2013
Northside added to the longest winning streak in 2A Conference 18 this week by beating Croatan, 54-35. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Monarchs.
North Brunswick made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,683 from 6,030. The improvement was largely due to a 27-20 victory over East Duplin last week.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Scorpions' Randy Clark and Kevon Perkins have proven to be a lethal combination. Clark has thrown for 676 yards this season, while Perkins has 13 catches for 331 yards. Dixon's Malik Simons leads the league in rushing yards with 1,849.
