Sand Rock entered their tilt with Fyffe on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 62-50 win over the Fyffe Red Devils. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Red Devils are ranked 232nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sand Rock pushed their record up to 22-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.2 points per game. As for Fyffe, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.

Sand Rock does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fyffe, they will square off against Collinsville at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
