Mt. Pleasant barely beat Fort Madison the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Bloodhounds on Monday. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six runs or more this season.

Mt. Pleasant is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Fort Madison, they dropped their record down to 4-12 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Mt. Pleasant didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-3 win against Davis County on the 17th.
