The Independence Bulldogs will look to defend their home field on Monday against the Parsons Vikings at 4:30 p.m. Independence is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.

In other batting news, Bryson Felton and Brock Sanders did most of the damage at the plate: Felton scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances, while Sanders went 5-for-5 with two RBI.
