Baseball Recap: Lebanon Drops Season-High Score on Hanover

Lebanon extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 2-9 in the process. They came up short against the Hanover Bears, falling 18-7. On the bright side, the seven- run performance marked the Raiders' highest-scoring game to date.

As for Hanover, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.

For Hanover's part, Wynn Casey made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out 11 batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). Those 11 strikeouts gave Casey a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sean Nam, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Wyatt Daigle was another key player, getting on base in four of his six plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
