Soccer Game Preview: Fort Bend Travis vs. Fort Bend Austin

Fort Bend Travis is 1-8-1 against Fort Bend Austin since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Tigers will face off against the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Fort Bend Travis will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Fort Bend Austin better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Fort Bend Travis' game on Friday is any indication, that's when Fort Bend Travis really gets things going. The Tigers blew past Fort Bend Elkins 3-0. Fort Bend Travis might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Fort Bend Austin was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Fort Bend Clements could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

With that draw, Fort Bend Austin's record moves to 5-3-1. As for Fort Bend Travis, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.
