Baseball Recap: Mountain Pointe Takes a Loss

Mountain Pointe suffered their closest loss since March 22nd on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Horizon Huskies by a score of 6-4. The Pride were not able to make up for their defeat to the Huskies from their previous meeting back in March of 2016.

Mountain Pointe saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noa Ybarra, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Mountain Pointe has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for Horizon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-8.

While Mountain Pointe had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
