Baseball Recap: Berea-Midpark Snaps 12-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Berea-Midpark took a nine-run loss the last time they faced off against Avon, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Titans narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Eagles 6-4. This was payback for the Titans, who suffered a 10-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Michael Samarin, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. Dylan Papushak also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
