Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Luverne). They put the hurt on the Worthington Trojans with a sharp 66-46 victory on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Cardinals have posted since December 10, 2024.

Luverne's victory bumped their record up to 5-19. As for Worthington, they are on a 20-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-23.

Luverne has already played their next game, a 66-41 defeat against Fairmont on the 18th. As for Worthington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 77-55 loss against Belle Plaine on the 14th.
