Recap: Kermit Yellow Jackets vs. Tournament Team
The Kermit Yellow Jackets lost against Tournament Team on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Kermit had to suffer through a rough 56-19 loss at the hands of Tournament Team. Kermit has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Kermit's loss came despite strong showings from Ebbin Mallory and Iris Lujan. Mallory scored 2 points along with 11 rebounds and 3 steals, while Lujan scored 2 points. Mallory is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
Kermit's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Tournament Team, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kermit will take on Jal at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tournament Team, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Rosemont.
