Baseball Game Preview: Mountain View Mountain Lions vs. Greeley Central Wildcats

For the second straight game, Mountain View will face off against Greeley Central. The Mountain Lions will venture away from home to square off against the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Saturday, Mountain View was able to grind out a solid victory over Greeley Central, taking the game 4-1. That looming 4-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Mountain Lions yet this season.

Mountain View's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Mason Belk, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

The victory made it two in a row for Mountain View and bumps their season record up to 4-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games. As for Greeley Central, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-9.
