Basketball Game Preview: Schaumburg Christian Conquerors vs. Parkview Christian Academy Falcons

Schaumburg Christian hasn't had much luck against Parkview Christian Academy recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Schaumburg Christian Conquerors will host the Parkview Christian Academy Falcons at 6:00 p.m. Schaumburg Christian will be strutting in after a win while Parkview Christian Academy will be coming in after a loss.

Schaumburg Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They put the hurt on Islamic Foundation with a sharp 58-35 victory on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Conquerors have posted since January 5, 2024.

Schaumburg Christian relied on the efforts of Giada Falco, who dropped a double-double with 29 points and 15 rebounds, and Stephanie Tenuto, who dropped a triple-double with 13 points, 11 assists, and ten steals. Tenuto continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sarah Perfanov, who posted a point along with 11 boards and five steals.

Schaumburg Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 40 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in November of 2023.

Meanwhile, Parkview Christian Academy suffered their biggest defeat since January 9th on Monday. They lost 56-30 to Harvest Christian Academy. The Falcons have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Parkview Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Schaumburg Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 5-12.

Schaumburg Christian suffered a grim 68-44 defeat to Parkview Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Thankfully for Schaumburg Christian, Gracie Lambes (who went 12 for 19 en route to 32 points in addition to eight assists and eight rebounds) won't be suiting up this time.
