Roaring Fork's season-opener on Tuesday wasn't quite what the team was looking for considering the end result. Neither they nor the Grand Junction Tigers could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Riley Beavington was the only thing that stood between Roaring Fork and a shutout considering she scored both of Roaring Fork's goals.

With that draw, Grand Junction's record moves to 1-0-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roaring Fork will square off against Fruita Monument at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Grand Junction, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Coal Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
