Baseball Recap: North Beach Comes Up Short

North Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 21-16 to the Lake Quinault Elks. The Hyaks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Elks from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Owen Ohare and Kenny Frank stepped up to the plate in a big way. Ohare scored three runs and stole six bases while getting on base in three of his eight plate appearances, while Frank scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Conrad Kell, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his seven plate appearances.

North Beach's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, North Beach will face off against Raymond/South Bend at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Quinault, they will head out to challenge Wishkah Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
