Porter had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the South Houston Trojans by a score of 2-0. While the Spartans didn't have the best season last year (they finished 17-22), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Porter's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for South Houston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.

Porter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Tomas on the 22nd. As for South Houston, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against MacArthur on the 22nd.
