Basketball Game Recap: Indian River vs. Laurel

After flying high against Sussex Academy last Thursday, the Indian River Indians came back down to earth. Indian River was completely outmatched by the Laurel Bulldogs and fell 91-60. The result was an unfortunate reminder to the Indians of the 94-59 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head last month.

Indian River's defeat pushed them down to 3-15. The win was the 14th in a row for Laurel and raised their record to 16-2.

Indian River will take on Early College on Thursday. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 32 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close contest. Laurel will take on Delmar on Thursday at home. Delmar is coming in off of a big 70-41 win over Sussex Academy.
