Basketball Recap: Morrison's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Morrison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-58 heartbreaker at the hands of the Frontier Mustangs. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly three points.

Morrison's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-3. As for Frontier, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.

Morrison will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cashion at 3:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Frontier has already played their next match, a 65-46 victory against Drummond on the 20th.
