Volleyball Game Preview: Adams Central Flying Jets vs. Union County Patriots

The Adams Central Flying Jets will head out on the road to face off against the Union County Patriots at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Adams Central is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Adams Central came up short against Southern Wells and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21, 23-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Union County lost 3-0 to North Decatur on Thursday. The Patriots have struggled against the Chargers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-15, 25-20.

Union County's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Adams Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-15.

Adams Central came out on top in a nail-biter against Union County when the teams last played back in October of 2021, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Flying Jets repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
