Volleyball Recap: The Colony Find Success

The Colony posted their closest victory since August 17, 2024 on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Wills Point Tigers 2-1.

Amaya Jones paced The Colony's offense, picking up 11 kills. Jones got some help from Teagan Hubbard and her ten assists. Peyton Nisonger controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

The victory got The Colony back to even at 3-3. As for Wills Point, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

The Colony has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Wilson on the 16th. As for Wills Point, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Hillcrest on the 19th.
