Baseball Recap: Carlsbad Lancers vs. Poway Titans

Carlsbad extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping their season record up to 15-8 in the process. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Poway Titans, sneaking past 8-6. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 6-4 win on Wednesday.

Jett Kenady was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Kenady was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Liam Stigers was incredible, going 1-for-4 with five stolen bases and three runs. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Tyler Ward was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.
