Soccer Game Preview: Green Forest vs. Huntsville

The Green Forest Tigers will face off against the Huntsville Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Green Forest's favor as the team sits on six straight wins at home while Huntsville has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.

Green Forest took a four-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Gentry, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Tigers narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Pioneers 3-2. That's two games straight that Green Forest have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Huntsville's offense. They fell 2-0 to Morrilton on Thursday.

Huntsville's loss dropped their record down to 1-12-1. As for Green Forest, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Everything went Green Forest's way against Huntsville in their previous matchup on April 3rd, as Green Forest made off with a 10-0 victory. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
