After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mabel-Canton, Kingsland was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Lanesboro Burros an 8-0 shutout. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Burros, too.
Collin Stuart threw for 81 yards and one touchdown. KD Reiland was his top target, picking up 33 receiving yards. On the ground, Bently Wiersma rushed for 53 yards.
Kingsland's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Lanesboro, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
As of now, neither Kingsland nor the Burros have any future games scheduled.
