Morris Jeff's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the St. Katharine Drexel Yellowjackets 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Pelicans as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

Morris Jeff's victory bumped their record up to 2-11. As for St. Katharine Drexel, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morris Jeff will challenge Kennedy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Katharine Drexel, they will take on Metairie Park Country Day at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Yellowjackets' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
