Football Recap: Cayson Mcelrath and Brayden Hughes Pace Valley Head Defense + How To Watch

Valley Head won the last time they faced Section and things went their way on Friday too. The Tigers came out on top against the Lions by a score of 14-6.

Tytan Blevins had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 210 yards and one score while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 72 yards and one touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Valley Head was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 229 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Section only rushed for seven rushing yards.

The win got Valley Head back to even at 1-1. As for Section, their defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Valley Head and Section will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Tigers will square off against rival Gaylesville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Section is set to challenge their familiar foe Pisgah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
