Football Recap: St. Anthony Takes a Loss

St. Anthony fell victim to Summit and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the SkyHawks, falling 21-0. If the Saints were looking for revenge after losing 13-9 to the SkyHawks when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Marcus Cazares had an outrageously good game for Summit as he rushed for 111 yards and one score on only nine carries.

St. Anthony is on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Summit, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, St. Anthony will be playing at home against Valley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Summit, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Barstow at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
