Basketball Recap: East Coweta Wins Going Away Against Collins Hill

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but East Coweta had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 65-49 win over the Collins Hill Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Qwes Williams was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 28 points and 16 boards. What's more, he also posted a 76% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in November of 2024. Marcus Towns was another key player, putting up 13 points.

East Coweta's victory bumped their record up to 18-10. As for Collins Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-12.

East Coweta wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 60-58 loss against Cherokee on the 22nd. Collins Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
