Soccer Recap: West Rowan Takes a Loss

West Rowan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the East Rowan Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against East Rowan this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-4 back in September.

West Rowan's goal came courtesy of William Beecham, who's now up to five this season.

West Rowan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11-1. As for East Rowan, their win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 9-6-1.

West Rowan wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-0 loss against Concord on the 14th. As for East Rowan, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-3 defeat against Jay M. Robinson on the 14th.
